THE BRIDGE TO YEAR 2010

The passing of 2009 was a welcome relief to many as we saw the worst recession in the history of mankind and a spate of disaster both man made and nature. The path to the new year is bright but the horizon is dark and uncertain. We may well see another financial meltdown as the borrowed money were not paid and the world is still facing the prospect of global warming and with potentially devastating damageto the world.
Nothing is clear but we all have to live each day with love ,happiness and hope. IT IS WITH HOPE THAT WE LIVE AND THRIVE ON. WITH GRATITUDE THAN CAN WE BE HAPPY AND WITH LOVE WHERE WE LEARN TO BE DEPENDENT ON EACH OTHER.

REWARD FOR A MAN WITH HEART OF GOLD.

I READ THIS IN THE NEWS A FEW MONTHS AGO.THE GENTLEMAN ON THE LEFT WAS AN EX PRINCIPAL OF A SCHOOL IN HONG KONG. HE WAS SUCH A KIND AND HELPFUL MAN THAT HE WILL PAY WITH HIS OWN MONEY,THE SCHOOL FEES,FOOD AND LODGING FOR HIS STUDENTS WHO CAME FROM A POOR DISTRICT IN HK.
MANY OF THE STUDENTS GRADUATED AND WENT ON TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONALS LATER ON IN LIFE.
When he retired he was left with minimal money and was diagnosed with common old man disease. Soon he used up all his cash and was left without a home. His students found out about his problem and a group was formed to donate money to buy him a house and help him with his expanses. He is still around today and is enjoying life in a small town in the island.
