ANOTHER VEGETARIAN CLASS @ 16 HOLY HOUSE











ON THE 25/04/10 ANOTHER VEG. CLASS WAS HELD AT THE HOLY HOUSE.

CHEN TANG CHU WAS THE DEMONSTRATOR ON THAT AFTERNOON.

IT WAS ATTENDED BY AT LEAST 40 PEOPLE INCLUDING FOUR HOLY TEACHERS AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

IT WAS A SIMPLE SESSION AS THERE WAS NO COOKING BUT A SHOW OF SALAD MAKING. SIMPLE, EASY, HEALTHY, COLORFUL,TASTY WAS THE THEME OF THE DAY. FOUR DISHES WAS PRESENTED AND AT THE END OF THE SESSION ALL JOINED IN TO ENJOY THE TASTY SALAD AND DISHES.

1. EGG MAYO SALAD-------- HARD BOILED EGGS ---CUT INTO HALF ---- THE EGG YOLK REMOVED AND RE FORMULATED WITH SALT,PEPPER,BUTTER,MILK AND MINCED VEGETABLES---CHINESE PARSLEY,CARROTS, CHILI AND CAPSICUM.
THE MIXTURE IS RETURNED BACK TO THE EGG WHITE.

2.CORN IN BUTTER SAUCE---- FROZEN OR CANNED CORN KENNELS ARE MIXED WITH BUTTER, SALT, PEPPER AND PUT IN THE MICRO WAVE OVEN FOR 4 MINUTES.

3. EASTERN TOMATO SALAD--- TOMATO WERE CUT AND MIXED IN A SAUCE MADE FROM LIGHT SOYA SAUCE, PARSLEY, SESAME OIL AND SESAME SEEDS WITH A DASH OF VINEGAR.

4. VEG SALAD WITH EAST AND WEST SAUCE------ALL KINDS OF VEGETABLES INCLUDING LETTUCE, CARROTS,ETC.
a. EASTERN SAUCE--- SOYA SAUCE, VINEGAR, SESAME OIL AND OLIVE OIL.
b. WESTERN SAUCE----MAYO, SWEETENED MILK, LEMON JUICE ,VEGS AND SALT AND PEPPER.

PLEASE ENJOY THIS SIMPLE DISHES-------------EASY AND TASTY.

THE TRICK IS TO USE WHAT YOU LIKE AND WHAT YOU HAVE IN THE FRIDGE.
